Proven techniques and close monitoring ensure the quality of maize and grass silage
Most of the silage is grown on our own land, giving us full control over quality and consistency. Sustainable farming methods and expert crop management, like applying the right fertilisers, insecticides, and chemicals at optimal times, and keeping weeds to a minimum, ensure plant health.
Harvesting is timed and carried out in a way that maximises plant health and silage quality. Our maize silage (also known as corn silage) is harvested from late February to mid-April, while grass silage is available after the September–October harvest, ensuring you get the freshest product when it’s at its best.
After many years in the business, we've learnt that timely delivery and proper stacking are crucial to preserving silage quality and minimising waste. Our fleet of reliable vehicles ensures efficient delivery, and our late-model machinery, including fourteen-tonne tractors dedicated to the stacks, means your silage is stacked and stored correctly and in a way that maximises space on your farm.
