Proven techniques and close monitoring ensure the quality of maize and grass silage

Most of the silage is grown on our own land, giving us full control over quality and consistency. Sustainable farming methods and expert crop management, like applying the right fertilisers, insecticides, and chemicals at optimal times, and keeping weeds to a minimum, ensure plant health.
Harvesting is timed and carried out in a way that maximises plant health and silage quality. Our maize silage (also known as corn silage) is harvested from late February to mid-April, while grass silage is available after the September–October harvest, ensuring you get the freshest product when it’s at its best.
After many years in the business, we've learnt that timely delivery and proper stacking are crucial to preserving silage quality and minimising waste. Our fleet of reliable vehicles ensures efficient delivery, and our late-model machinery, including fourteen-tonne tractors dedicated to the stacks, means your silage is stacked and stored correctly and in a way that maximises space on your farm.

Silage inoculant options for superior preservation and performance

To further enhance the quality of your silage, we offer inoculant options tailored to your needs.
Choosing inoculated silage means you get more value from every tonne of feed for your dairy farm, with reduced risk of spoilage and greater flexibility in your feeding programme. Our team can advise you on the best inoculant options to suit your operation and goals.

Flexible finance and tonnage-based contracts make getting your stock feed simple

One of the main concerns for farmers is knowing exactly how much feed they’re getting. That’s why we offer tonnage-based contracts, with a guaranteed delivery of feed within a 10% margin.
This approach gives you peace of mind, as you only pay for the feed you actually receive, compared to hectare-based deals where the yield can fluctuate due to weather or growing conditions.
We also know that managing cash flow is important for every farming operation. That’s why we offer flexible finance plans and monthly payment options, making it easier for you to access the feed you need without straining your budget.
